GOLD COAST ENTERTAINMENT

The Gold Coast has entertainment options for all tastes and budgets. Surf, sand and sun by day, fabulous restaurant districts plus clubs and nightlife after dark. Enjoy great meals from any of the international cuisines available on the Gold coast, sip drink in a sophisticated bar, hit the nightclubs until the small hours or enjoy a world class live stage show.

The Gold Coast is a major conference, convention and events centre with everything from Indycar races to thoroughbred yearling sales to international boat shows.

These events draw thousands of visitors to the Gold Coast and each one brings it own unique party atmosphere.

The Gold Coast Arts Centre has two cinemas, several restaurants and function rooms, a comedy clubhouse, arts theatre and two art galleries. It's a venue for lovers of the arts and features a variety of live theatre productions.

The majority of the Gold Coast nightclubs are situated in the heart of Surfers Paradise around the Cavill Mall and Orchid Ave area. The thriving club scene has something for everyone, from piano bars and sports bars to music clubs blasting out the latest dance crazes. Live bands play regular gigs at many of the bars and nightclubs.

Open daily for 24 hours, Conrad Jupiters Casino at Broadbeach combines traditional gambling with stage show spectaculars. The combined hotel and casino has two gaming floors with over 1400 slot machines and 70 gaming tables. The popular Broadbeach monorail connects the casino with the restaurant and shopping precincts.

Daily performances of Las Vegas style floorshows are extremely popular. The several themed restaurants and bars combined with the entertainment and gaming all make for a fun night out.

The clubs are packed with tourists during the peak holiday seasons, the schoolies week and the Indy Carnival, but the crowd is generally made up of partying locals. Leading DJs play the clubs regularly and the Gold Coast venues are always at the forefront of music trends.

The Twin Towns Services Club is the largest Services Club in Australia and provides much of the entertainment at the southern end of the Gold Coast. Gaming, floor shows, cinemas and  restaurants are all under the one roof and club sets high standards in dining and entertainment. It is open 7 days from 9am till late and occupies almost 5 square kilometres of property spread across four sites.
